Louis Sullivan’s 1914 masterpiece known as the “Jewel Box”. Only three miles north of I-80 in Grinnell, Iowa. Always meant to stop before but was in too much of a rush.

    So interesting to watch another part of the world! Thank you for sharing.

    I’m curious about first photos – did you make them right from the car while driving (from passenger seat of course) or you stopped to make pictures outside the car? They don’t look like made through the car window 🙂

    Thanks for your comments 🙂 Yes, winter has us in it’s grips for sure now. But I’m happy to see some precipitation in the mountains and western plains.

    I’m sure your part of the world is just as cold and snowy Olga, if not more so! All of the landscape pix (except the one of Peoria) were taken through car window glass. I did play with some of the images in Photoshop to correct for that weird blue tint you can get from shooting through a car window.
