Tiny but Mighty Mules, Iko and TeeNah Return!

The marvelously expressive mules, Iko and TeeNah are back!

Originally sculpted in 2009 and released in 2010 at 1:10 scale this pair charmed collectors with their expressive interaction.

I began the process of having the mules 3-D scanned in December 2019.  3-D prototypes were "printed" in January 2020.  Those prototypes were then refined and resurfaced to eliminate the subtle "topography" lines so characteristic of 3-d prints.  The whole project was made possible by a core group of collectors who kicked in funds up front to get the Amazing Shrinking Pony Project rolling.  Thank you Shrinky krewe!

A side note; earlier in 2019, I painted a pair of archive pieces (1:10 scale) in a faux bronze finish and mounted them a on a single base together.  The pair, titled "And Then...", was featured in the gallery exhibit "Reality Check" at the Friesien Galleries in Nampa, Idaho.  This one-of-a-kind pair now has a lovely home with a true blue collector.

In order to provide more versatility for collectors the new smaller versions come with new, matched individual bases.  Iko and TeeNah will be available to order beginning April 15, 2020.

 Iko is 4.75" L x 1.75" W x 4.25" H, measurements include the base.

TeeNah is 4.75" L x 1.75" W x 4.25" H, measurements include the base.

 Just trotting down the road...
