Sales and Workshop Policies
When items are available for sale, you may make your purchase with our shopping cart, which accepts PayPal payments. You may also use a credit card with this system even if you do not have a PayPal account. If you’d like to spread out payments, consider PayPal’s “PayPal Credit” service.
Personal checks, Money Orders or Cashier’s Checks will be accepted for non-shopping cart sales. Checks should be made out to Laf’n Bear LLC (my registered business name), and must clear your bank before a piece is shipped.
Please mail your check or money order to:
Laf’n Bear LLC, 2005 S. Columbus St., Boise, ID 83705-3511
I reserve the right to sell the piece to another person privately or offer it in public sale if at least an initial payment is not received within five (5) business days of the sale, unless otherwise specified.
When a resin from the current catalogue is not in stock, you may have one cast especially for you - i.e. cast to your order. A non-refundable deposit is required, as well as a bit of patience; cast-to-order resins are added to our normal workflow and may take up to two weeks (sometimes longer, but sometimes more quickly!). You will receive an email with the estimated date that your resin will be ready to ship. Any outstanding balance on your order will be invoiced at that time. An order will be shipped when it is 100% paid in full. For more information, please read the Cast-to-Order FAQs
If you’d like to spread out payments, contact me and I will get things set up through www.lynnafraley.com for the specific amounts you'd like to pay over time.
For Time Payments direct to Laf’n Bear LLC: Unless otherwise stated, time payments to Lynn A. Fraley, Laf’n Bear LLC, may be negotiated prior to a sale on a case-by-case basis ONLY. References will be requested. Time payments are offered as a courtesy, we are not able to accept all requests for time payments.
Time payments will not be offered for purchases of less than $200.00 value.
To hold a sculpture in your name, an initial payment of not less than 25% of the full price is required.
In the event of default in payments, the initial payment will NOT be refunded. An order will be shipped when it is 100% paid in full.
There will be a ten-day inspection period during which if you are not completely satisfied with your sculpture, you will be able to return it for a full refund, minus shipping charges.
The piece must be returned in good condition; shipped back to the Laf’n Bear LLC with the same high level of care in packing and handling which it was given in shipment to you.
In addition, a written statement must accompany it explaining why you are not satisfied with the piece. The policy is void if the sculpture is shown, resold, damaged or altered in any way within this period.
