"Some of my favorite memories are of workshops. Not only is it a privilege and an obligation to pass on what I have learned from my teachers, Sam Savitt, Dr. Deb Bennett, Veryl Goodnight and Cammie Lundeen among others, but it's a heckuv a lot of fun to be with kindred spirits."

The next Wire to Whinny five-day workshop will be October 19 - 23, 2020.   Registration begins February 1, 2020.

In Wire to Whinny students learn the techniques of creating an equine sculpture, build a take-home 3-D muscle reference, spend an afternoon studying live horses and learn about the basics of mold making and casting in resin.  Yes, you're right, that's quite a lot to do in just five days, and boy do we have a good time doing it!  Photos of past workshops are in the gallery below.

Tuition is $585.00 which includes armature supplies and clay for both sculpting projects as well as an extensive workbook.

Only five seats are available for this workshop. UPDATE, Feb 17 -- this workshop has filled! Please email Lynn if you would like to be placed on a wait list -- thank you!

Past offerings include the five-day "Wire to Whinny" workshop in which Lynn walked her students through the process of creating a horse sculpture of their own and "Sculpting and Equine Face," a one day workshop in which students learned the details of sculpting the face of a horse.
